Further provenance information available upon request. Vest was purchased at an auction house and I met the soldier who originally owned and wore this vest. Vest was stained/soiled from use, I soaked the vest and cleaned it the best I could (smells better than it did, trust me). I believe this article to hold historical importance based on the elite group it belonged to. Vest is in fair/good, used condition. Elastic still appears strong. Some snags/stains. Somewhat amazing how well made this vest is considering what it has been through. Unfortunately I disassembled the vest and am unsure how to reassemble. I purchased this vest simply because I am intrigued with military equipment/memorabilia, and thought the history of the vest to be important. I have now decided to sell it respectively. No plates. Size XL. Back label is worn and unreadable.
