DJ has shelf-wear present to the DJ extremities (front panel of the DJ has a piece missing (see photo). Bound in cloth boards with titles present to the spine and front board. Boards have light shelf-wear present to the extremities. No ownership marks present. Text is clean and free of marks. Binding tight and solid. Paul Philip Barraud was a fine clock and chronometer maker, he worked from Cornhill, London. Master of the Clockmakers' Company in 1810 and a partner with W. Howells and George Jamison. A scarce account of the Barraud family of chronometer makes and their product.
